Quran Institute
The Quran Institute of the Islamic Center of Wheaton envisions a comprehensive educational approach, blending traditional Quranic studies with modern methodologies. Rooted in Islamic heritage, the institute aims to provide a nurturing environment for Hifdh (memorization) programs, guiding students through the memorization of the Quran with personalized mentoring and assessments.
Alongside Hifdh programs, the institute will offer diverse Arabic learning courses, catering to various proficiency levels. These courses will cover grammar, syntax, and conversational Arabic, emphasizing the importance of understanding the language of the Quran.
In alignment with its vision, the Quran Institute is excited to announce a collaboration with Itqan Academy, introducing a part-time Hifdh program. This program, starting immediately, will enable students to engage in Quranic memorization under the guidance of both institutions, fostering a holistic learning experience.
Additionally, in March 2024, the institute will launch Arabic learning programs, providing students with a strong foundation in the language of the Quran. These courses will serve as a crucial step towards achieving the institute’s goal of nurturing individuals who not only memorize the Quran but also comprehend its meanings.
As part of its strategic goals, the Quran Institute aims to initiate a full-time Hifdh program in the upcoming summer. This milestone reflects the commitment to providing a more immersive and dedicated memorization experience for students, further enriching their connection with the Quran.
Through these progressive steps, the Quran Institute aspires to cultivate a vibrant educational community, fostering the holistic development of individuals who excel in Quranic studies, understand Arabic, and contribute meaningfully to the broader Islamic community. The collaborative efforts with Itqan Academy signify a commitment to excellence, creating a robust platform for Islamic education within the Islamic Center of Wheaton.
