ICW Summer Camp Highlights

Our ICW Summer Camp offers engaging and age-appropriate Islamic education sessions that aim to deepen children’s understanding of Islam. Through interactive lessons, discussions, and activities, campers will learn about Islamic beliefs, values, stories from the Quran and Hadith, and the life and character of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Campers will have the opportunity to enhance their connection with the Quran through Quranic stories.

Our camp focuses on nurturing positive character traits and moral values inspired by Islamic teachings. Through team-building activities, leadership workshops, and interactive discussions, campers will develop qualities such as kindness, empathy, honesty, and responsibility, empowering them to become well-rounded individuals.

At ICW, we believe in the importance of physical activity and encourage campers to engage in various sports and recreational activities. Our camp provides opportunities for campers to stay active, build teamwork skills, and enjoy the outdoors while embodying Islamic values of fairness and sportsmanship.

ICW Campers will unleash their creativity through arts and crafts projects that highlight Islamic themes and cultural elements.

Our ICW Campers will have the opportunity to build lifelong friendships and create lasting memories and develop strong bonds with their peers, fostering a sense of belonging and unity within the Islamic community.

Our ICW Summer Camp is open to children and youth of ages 0-10. Registration begins in April of each year.

Our individualized instruction approach will encompass the following principles

Each student will be assessed to identify their strengths, areas for improvement, and learning preferences. Based on this assessment, personalized learning plans will be created to tailor instruction to their specific needs, interests, and pace of learning.

Teachers will employ various teaching strategies, learning materials, and assessments to cater to the diverse learning styles, abilities, and interests of students.

Students may be grouped flexibly based on their specific needs and learning objectives. They may work individually, in small groups, or in mixed-ability groups for collaborative learning activities, discussions, and projects.

Students will have the flexibility to choose learning paths and explore topics of interest within the curriculum.

Assessments will be designed to align with individual learning goals and provide meaningful feedback to students.

Technology tools and platforms will be incorporated to enhance individualized instruction.

Teachers will continuously monitor student progress and provide timely intervention and support as needed.
